About Us

It's really simple, I love everything to do with comics! I  took an affinity to collecting comics ever since I was a kid, lusting after what I always referred to as the "The Holy Grail" or "The Grail" of something. First it was the hottest comic on the newsstand, and later in life it became items I thought I would never be able to obtain, the books and art surrounding it I would only dream of owning some day. Now after decades of collecting, I've decided to bring these "Grails" to this site. Our collection primarily specializes in Golden, Silver & Bronze Age Comics, some copper/modern, and most recently a larger focus on Original Comic Art for the most discerning of collectors. 

We have been a part of numerous comic book records on both the buying and selling side, first in 2018 with the highest priced coverless copy of any comic at the time at $82.6k (Action Comics #1 first Superman and hero comic). We later broke that record by reselling the same book in 2020 for $125k. 

We've had some other notable records in between, but most recently we broke more records in 2024 with the acquisition of Dectective Comics #27 6.5, breaking the World Record for the 1st appearance of Batman comic book just shy of $2m, at 1.825m! We also broke 2 other world records with Action Comics #1, the most important comic in the hobby being the first hero book and 1st appearance of Superman. In 2024 we broke a restored comic book record overall and also being another Action Comics #1 selling at $576k, then re-breaking that same record buying the highest graded restored copy of Action Comics #1 with the least amount of restoration, a gorgeous 9.0 Near Mint copy for just shy of $800k!
